Supreme Court Rejects Decision on Nape Rub

The Supreme Court Tuesday returned to an appellate court the case of a man who rubbed the napes of two women and their forearms while preaching about their smoking, saying his behavior had prompted sexual humiliation.

The man, identified as Shin, 51, in 2013 rubbed the arms and napes of two women employees for about three seconds, and said "Why do young people like you smoke?" The man works as an executive at a factory in Daejeon 2013. He slipped his arm around their waists while he was talking.

Shin also embezzled 40 million won by selling machines that he borrowed under the factory's name.

Shin was sentenced 10 months at the first court for embezzlement and molestation. But the appellate court dismissed...
