Caffebene to Up Presence in Se Asia

Caffe bene, the operator of nation’s leading coffee shop franchise, announced Tuesday the firm signed a contract with Malaysian investment firm BT Capital to set up Asia Caffe Bene in the Southeast Asian country.

The corporate entity in Malaysia will be responsible for expanding its branches in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore.

“The Korean branch of the Malaysian investment firm contacted us to join hands to increase our cafes in Asian countries. Caffe bene accepted its request,” a company official said.

“We plan to increase the number of cafes in Southeastern countries, where the dining-out culture is common.”
