Beautiful Thursday Concert Series: Kim Dong-hyun

In 2019, Kumho Art Hall will be featuring a performer every Thursday to spread classical music culture in Korea One of the upcoming performers is violinist Kim Dong-hyun, who was born in 1999 and made his first debut performance as a solo artist in 2012.

He has worn several domestic competitions and even an nternational competition at the young age of 16 in 2016 in Romania At the concert, he will perform works by Debussy, Chausson, Ysaye, and Prokofiev. He will be accompanied on the piano by Kang Hyung-eun.

Murray Perahia is an American pianist who has been performing for over four decades. He attended Mannes College where he studied conducting and composition.

He won the Leeds International Piano Competition in 1972 and performed solo for the first time at the Aldeburgh Festival the following year He has also been on tour worldwide in countries such as Mexico, Japan, and Australia Perahia has recorded several albums and is currently working on recording the complete Beethoven Sonatas. On top of his multiple accomplishments, he was even recognized in 2004 by Queen Elizabeth for his noteworthy contributions to classical music.

Dynamic Duo is a Korean hip-hop group that debuted in 2004. The group includes rappers Choiza and Gaeko, who had been active in the music scene since young ages.

After releasing their first album 'Taxi Driver,' the group rose quickly to fame and even established its own record label in 2006 named Amoeba Culture. The label currently manages several famous groups and artists such as Rhythm Power and Crush.

Dynamic Duo has released almost 10 studio albums and multiple singles. They have also won a variety of prestigious music awards both domestically and internationally.
